This enables 15 families toward education training and 150 pairs of shoes to start-up a micro enterprise shoe business. We also received hundreds of children’s pairs of shoes, which enables children in developing countries the opportunity to attend school, as they are not allowed to attend without footwear. We thank our gracious God for blessing our service project, using our hands and feet to do His work to help the families and children He so loves in countries globally. We thank the people of the Monterey Peninsula for their generous and kind donations.

St. Timothy, St. Philip’s, and Epiphany Lutheran Churches have partnered with Funds2org in a shoe drive to help thousands of families create a path out of poverty. November 30 is Giving Tuesday and we are in the home stretch. So far, we have collected 70 bags with 25 pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes. That leaves us only 30 bags from our goal. This is a great time to collect some shoes and get them to us before December 11th as that is when we wrap up our campaign. We thank you for all your support! Remember that every pair helps.
